In a brazen daytime heist, two armed men equipped with assault rifles stole approximately $1.8 million from a Brinks armored truck in the Tacony section of Northeast Philadelphia. The robbery took place on Torresdale Avenue, as the assailants held up the truck before fleeing the scene.
