In a recent surge of comments, former President Trump has called for Ukraine to replace current President Zelenskyy, criticizing his handling of the ongoing war with Russia and its implications for U.S. fuel prices. This follows a controversial diesel deal involving Russia that has drawn criticism both domestically and internationally. While Trump pushes for a leadership change, support for Zelenskyy remains strong among European leaders, including Germany and Britain. Zelenskyy has responded by emphasizing that the choice of leadership should be made by the Ukrainian people, and expressed readiness to hold elections if a ceasefire agreement with Russia is reached. The situation remains tense as the U.S. threatens to cut intelligence sharing with Ukraine and as Russia continues its military attacks.
