United Football League Announces Major Changes and New Teams for 2026
The United Football League (UFL) is undergoing significant transformations ahead of the 2026 season, announcing the arrival of new teams including the Louisville Kings, Columbus Aviators, and a UFL team in Orlando. Louisville officially joins the league with Lynn Family Stadium as its home venue. In a reshuffle, the UFL is relocating franchises to smaller venues in Columbus, Louisville, and Orlando, while shuttering teams in San Antonio, Memphis, and Michigan. The Houston franchise has been rebranded as the Gamblers and will play at Shell Energy Stadium. Birmingham Stallions will face three new rivals in the league, as UFL aims to create a more focused and sustainable football environment with its expansion and team movements.
