Sources indicate that the United States is approaching a deal with Russia to secure the release of several Americans imprisoned in the country, including retired teacher Stephen Hubbard. Former President Trump recently confirmed that he discussed the case with Russian President Vladimir Putin, expressing optimism about an imminent breakthrough. Trump has specifically called for the release of Hubbard, a 74-year-old pensioner detained in Russia for several years. Discussions are reportedly ongoing, with Trump hinting at upcoming meetings between U.S. envoys and Putin aimed at resolving these issues.
