President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump cast their midterm ballots early in person in West Palm Beach, Florida. This marks a shift for Trump, who has previously criticized mail-in voting. Emphasizing the importance of participation, Trump has actively encouraged Republicans to vote early, while also defending controversial ads and addressing criticisms of his campaign. With midterm elections approaching, early voting numbers have surged, and Trump took to the campaign trail shortly after casting his vote.
