A powerful earthquake measuring 6.0 to 6.1 magnitude has struck off the coast of Oregon, with reports indicating the epicenter was located approximately 173 miles west of Bandon. Despite the tremors felt along the coast, officials have confirmed that there is no tsunami threat expected for the region or the West Coast. The earthquake, described as shallow, has been noted for its intensity but thankfully, no damage has been reported.
