Massive Ukrainian Drone Attack Targets Moscow and Other Russian Regions
In a significant escalation of hostilities, Ukraine launched its largest drone attack on Russia to date, involving over 140 drones aimed at multiple regions, including the Moscow area. The assault prompted the closure of three of Moscow's four airports and triggered massive explosions, particularly in the Tver region where an ammunition depot was hit. Casualties have been reported, with a woman killed in a Moscow suburb. In response, Russian authorities reported the interception of numerous Ukrainian drones while ramping up their own airstrike operations. Evacuations were ordered in some affected areas following the drone strikes. This series of attacks has heightened tensions and left Russian cities feeling vulnerable as the conflict continues to intensify.
