Pritzker, who is also the cousin of Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, expressed deep regret over his ties to Epstein, which have come under scrutiny following the release of documents related to the late financier. His resignation adds to a growing list of executives distancing themselves from the controversy surrounding Epstein. The Hyatt board has since appointed CEO Mark Hoplamazian as the new board chairman.
