The Chicago Bears are reportedly close to finalizing a stadium deal that would keep them in Illinois, with several proposals currently being considered. A new domed stadium is being proposed by the Chicago architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, situated at the site of the current White Sox stadium in Bridgeport. This plan has garnered interest, although it has not yet received involvement from the Bears organization. Meanwhile, discussions are ongoing about the possibility of a stadium in Arlington Heights. Lawmakers are gearing up for a potential vote in November, adding urgency to the negotiations as the Bears aim to resolve exit rumors while securing their future at a new location in the state.
