In a remarkable season, Olivia Babcock of the Pittsburgh Panthers has been named the AVCA National Player of the Year for the second consecutive time. Babcock leads a strong representation of talented players this year, with three Pitt volleyball players named AVCA All-Americans. Alongside Babcock, Wisconsin’s Mimi Colyer and Kentucky’s Eva Hudson have also received recognition, with Colyer being named the AVCA Outside Hitter of the Year. Babcock, praised for her exceptional skills and achievements, continues to cement her legacy as one of the top players in college volleyball, securing her spot among finalists for the National Player of the Year award.
