Shawn Oliver, the GOP nominee for lieutenant governor in Massachusetts, has suspended his campaign following an OUI (operating under the influence) arrest after a crash in New Bedford. The incident involved a rollover accident, prompting his running mate, Mike Minogue, to call for Oliver to step down from the race. Following the arrest, Oliver faces multiple charges and has received significant pressure to discontinue his campaign from party officials and supporters alike.
